The difference is Miami fans do things like this to our own players, the story you are citing is about the opposing team’s fans doing it before the national championship. Still not excusable, but not even remotely similar. Our fans praise the players of other teams (FSU included) and down talk our own players. Atleast LSU fans are properly aligned on this one.

I dunno, when was the last time Miami fans have sent threats to their own players?

Every program has psycho fans.

Some have more than others.
 
We live in Microwave society. I am fine with giving Manny 3 years. Most of the fans on here would had Dabo, Carroll, and Saban fired their first year. Can we do things to expedite that the process? Yes. If the coach not doing those things should criticize? Yes. But telling prospects not to come here, which would help us get better faster is asinine.

Look at Dabo, everyone thought he was corch, now his has this thing rolling. He is putting foots in everyone.

Butch even said it, its takes time to cultivate relationships. That is one thing our fans are not willing give any coach, Time.
