Burley Track Meet -UM guys do well--Schwartz runs 10.13-100m--

Schwartz doesnt have Olympic speed if he wants to have a profitable future as an athlete his best bet is football.

whaaaaaaa????????

Dude has a chance to break 10.0 and 20.0 at the end of the season, TF are you talking about?? And the Olympics arent until 2020

lol exactly... very early in the season and this dude is running this fast. **** he might break ten. Homeboy just keeps rollin

For those saying he isn't that great of a football player or that he lacks instincts, his highlight tape is as good as any.

He's not a go up in traffic WR or even the shiftiest guy with the ball in his hands. What you have to account for him though is that at any point, you make one bad step, you arent catching up to this guy. That means you either have to have help or you're going to get housed. Every time he is on the field, you better be ready.

That in itself makes him a unique talent. Dorsett was our last burner and he wouldn't be able to run with this dude. A year or three from now, look out, he'll be even faster.

He can do either and we would all be doing blackflips had he come here.

I completely agree but when I say he doesn't have instincts I'm referring to the fact that's he's not dynamic when he gets the ball in hands which limits him because he's not a return specialist. Obviously with his speed he's going to give d coordinators problems as he requires a safety over the top.

Show me the senior in high school that would make our Olympic team today. You know what, there aren't any. I'm not sure there ever has been either.

That brings us back to reality. He'll get there, that's almost a given at this point. His 10.15 is the fastest time for a u18, world wide, ever. Should he focus solely on track, he is on pace to be our top sprinter some years down the road.

Well sydney mclaughlin made the Olympics as a HS JR

Wish we would’ve taken him. Would’ve been the answer at KR.

Common characteristic of great kick returners is changing direction decisively without losing acceleration - not just straight line speed. Devin Hester, Dante Hall, Deion Sanders, Billy 'White Shoes' Johnson. Check the highlights.

Homeboy doesnt understand if he would train year round for track only he would be faster.

Track Training and Football Training is 2 different things

Rather have my WR's running 10.5's to 11.0's and actually practicing with team in the spring. If he improves on his 10.13, 100% chance he won't be playing football....wasted scholly.

A 10.16 is an instant qualifier time for the USA Olympic standard.

Reason number 9,897,897,564,876 Miami has the most uninformed fan base
The standard is still 10.16, but you linked to the 2017 U.S. World Championship trials standard, the 2016 U.S. Oly trials Standard link is http://www.usatf.org/Events---Calen...Athlete-Information/Qualifying-Standards.aspx

But as of right now 10.16, or his 10.15 from last year wouldn’t do him any good, he would have to run faster if the most recent standards hold. 2017 Standard was 10.12 and it’s likely that will be the standard for 2019 as well. https://www.iaaf.org/responsive/download/downloadresultinfo?filename=ee27e984-97d5-43de-b70d-f2de42da3b93.pdf&urlslug=IAAF World Championships London 2017 entry standards

Also, you’re right about missing spring ball. It’s the reason so many football coaches won’t let players run track. But it doesn’t have to be a wasted scholarship.

Andre Johnson, Clinton Portis, Ed Reed, Vince Wilfork, Daryl Jones, Willis McGhee etc. etc. all ran track while at Miami. I can make list for other schools as well. Most coaches worth anything let their players run track if they want to. I've never seen a real coach tell a guy he can't run track lmao.

Silly post. There have been plenty of guys who were Olympic caliber track athletes who've decided to either pursue football over track or do both.

I fixed your post for you.

So Miami constitutes all programs? And, the “other schools” represent the rest? LOL. R.I.F = Reading Is Fundamental. Comprehension not your strong suit.

I’ll clarify, there are college coaches who don’t allow kids to miss spring practice. Period. Many coaches, see the benefits of kids running track and some don’t...so kids who want to compete in track...go elsewhere.

And its why Schwartz choose Auburn over Florida

Kenny Stills-like?

Just shut the **** up man. Any real coach will let his players run track period. Don't try and back track your original retarded *** statement. Through out cfb history coaches have allowed their athletes to play both track and football. I can name guys all over the dam place from several different era's and several different schools. Butler bynote, Robert smith and Chris Saunders at Ohio S......, octavious long, Jermaine Stafford and others at Michigan St. Brian Alford Purdue, Adoree Jackson USC etc etc list goes on. Artie burns, lance legget Miami... got dam...fsu, Florida, bama just had Tony brown lmao... Marquis Goodwin NCAA long jump champ from Texas also NFL player? I know he made it to the Olympics smh....

Lmao at "some coaches see the benefits some don't" the ones who don't ain't doing chit b.

Fck Schwartz and his trash mouth. Go gum him up on the Auburn board. I was ambivalent toward him until he started flapping his pvssy.

With you on this.

For absolutely no reason he’s been trashing the local team like a jilted chick. Just STFU and go to Auburn and do whatever, instead of making enemies back in the hometown, you idiot.

There was no backtrack from me, but there’s plenty of evidence that you don’t read too well - and that’s with me dumbing my post down so that even you could understand it. Or, so I thought...but you still can’t. But, that’s not my problem, it’s yours. You can’t even realize why your post is a mash of rank idiocy. I can assure you that I’m the one “LMAO”… at you.

When, it’s not just your ignorance, it’s your arrogance. Didn’t you claim previously that you ONCE ran a 47 second 400m? (Wow! 100 microseconds between 48 and 47 but you, a veritable track illiterate reading from your posts, can’t figure out which microsecond most closely corresponds with your actual time? So you claim them all! Now, that’s funny!) And that you actually coached JUCO? (I do believe the past tense, but I am shocked as **** there should have ever been a need for one) And that the board, minus you of course, were “non-athletes” and didn’t/shouldn’t speak on sports...because you’re a “he-man”? (You’re a funny dude. Well, to me, at least)

I said all that to say...you proved my point, inadvertently (LMAO), in the bolded section of your own post/rebuttal/written phlegm. Take your own advice and “Just shut the **** up man...”

Ok. Name some coaches who don't see the benefits of having it's players run track. Name of coach and link to article/source. See you later ***a.
