I wonder if teams or players would prefer to play games on practice or scrimmage fields? An empty stadium ought to be jarring to some degree. Whereas a game on a practice field would at least be similar to a scrimmage. This is particularly the case for us, since we wouldn't have to do the 25 minute drive to the stadium, which would likely save some costs.

It sucks not having fans and fans usually make things better for home players. Once a game gets going at this high of a level of play, the players kind of get in a zone and just play. The thing that will be missed by the players are the groupies that hang out outside the locker room post-game

I watch a lot of Bundesliga. It unquestionably impacts the outcome. Since the return after lockdown there is simply no longer a home field advantage. Soccer is a sport (like football) where the energy of the crowd can have a tremendous impact on the field of play.
