Would you build your offense around Malachi Toney or Jeremiah Smith? Why?
I would build my offense around Toney.
Toney is not only a great receiver, he is a great player. He has a higher football IQ. He can catch and rarely drops the ball. He has sufficient speed to breakaway. He can block. He can pick his spots to open up a pass. He can run the ball. He can pass the ball. He can return the ball. Toney commands the attention of the whole defense. The defense gravitates to him. He moves, the defense moves.
Jeremiah Smith has great size, hands and speed but lacks the football IQ and versatility of Toney. This is why I build around Toney.
