With Beamer retiring he would be a great fit as a DC here if he doesn't get VT gig. He seems to get more out of average players than any DC in the country.

dude had some of the best talent to work with.. I wouldn't mind him being the DC tho.
 
I don't think he's ever leaving Blacksburgh. There was a lot of talk that he doesn't want the HC job but wants to remain at the school as the DC.

Wouldn't surprise me. I don't know if he's gonna keep his salary, though, or if UM would want to pay as much as he's making. At that rate they could get just about anyone at DC.

Besides the young girls and sauce, he also likes to man his corners up on islands and blitz from all angles......YES please:basedduke:
 
Bud Foster has a huge pair man. Would really get the most out of our players here. Will stack the box and go zero coverage, blitz the **** out of you, or throw some bear defense at you. Would love to have him.
 
Is it just me or does anybody else feel like that there is a new post about the same **** topic everyday. I know for a fact that there have been at least two other threads recently that discussed the possibility of Bud Foster coming to UM as the DC with all of the typical Bud Foster thread responses. He has a drinking problem...he likes the young ladies...he is a lifer at VT and isn't going anywhere.

I for one cannot wait for them to hire somebody that we can go back to arguing whether or not the guy is the right 'fit' for Miami.
 
If I'm the next HC at VT I don't retain Foster. You don't keep a guy with a strong personality like that who wanted the HC gig, especially if they hire a young HC. That's a recipe for disaster for the next HC.
