Buckshot Calvert

Anyone with the nickname of Buckshot deserves an offer right away. Just hearing "and Buckshot hits Berrios in the corner of the end zone!" makes me want to watch some football.

That dude safid deen is a jack azS.... How the f do u ask that dumb *** question?. I mean seriously he mentioned it like twice in a three min interview. Keep in mind carol city hS isn't "inner city", it's in suburban Miami Gardens which is and always been populated by Hispanics/whites as well.

Miami central had a white qb about two years back as well. This is Miami dade who cares about race at this point, can the kid play is all were worried about

Miami has picked up there recruitment of Calvert, Miami will be at his spring game May 20th. Calvert will attend camp this year in hopes for a UM offer

For what? We have Allison brought 2 in 2014, 1 in 2015 and we should only have 1 in this class. Bring 2 in 2017 class..

That's how you're supposed to recruit qb's at big programs. There should be 4-5 scholarship qb's on your roster. That keeps you from starting true freshmen qb's , or looking like Shannon when we had a depth chart of two.


Qb's transfer, get injured ,or go pro as rs soph. This way you have protection.

For what? We have Allison brought 2 in 2014, 1 in 2015 and we should only have 1 in this class. Bring 2 in 2017 class..

Your numbers provide no context. Kaaya is a possible early entrant, Rosier is a baseball/football guy and imo you must be wary of those players, our 2015 qb was a plan X guy because our plan A decomitted relatively late, and Allison has already suffered a significant injury. 2 qbs in 2016 would be optimal. Bringing in 2 in 17 would mean they would have less time to prepare if they needed to actually play.

He had a foot injury that required surgery. I believe he's fully recovered but it's something to look out for. Allison is a superstar but we need two in this class

Because he has some tools to work with and he's not a finished product. Buckshot been killing it against top Dade county competition and every single event he's winning it for Strong Arm. I could only imagine how much better he can get with work in the weight room.

Plus I expect Kaaya to leave as a Junior. Rosier could totally David Thompson the qb position leaving to baseball. Sherreifs has some things I like but was a last minute take when we lost Lawson.

We need 2 this year for 2016 and possibly 2 again in 2017 pending Kaayas decision and also what Rosier chooses.

Give me Buckshot over the Dame kid for 2016 to go along with Allison and give me Jake Allen from St. Thomas to go along with Centeio in 2017.

We need depth at QB. Quality depth.



This is not including that injuries and transfers happen.

In college football. You need at least 3 or 4 qbs in the stable and the most 5. We have been playing with fire at the position for the last few years.

It's not easy to have "quality depth" at QB. QB's transfer the most once they don't get playing time.

We have the worst luck with that. Most colleges I see 3-4 in their stable. We need to get to that. Creates more competition and helps when your starter gets knocked out of a game or multiple games or the season.
 
People need to simmer down on the Kaaya leaving early talk. He hasn't even completed his 2nd season yet. Regardless we should be recruiting more QBs. Numbers are slim at QB and too many unknown variables with the our current group.
