Bubba Bolden 2020 Highlight tape. Glad we'll have him back

Happened to me when I was watching Kyler Murray and Jalen Hurts tape and I kept thinking “why wouldn’t somebody just take this Ceedee Lamb guy 1st?”

Nah. Posters on here have told me the scheme makes him look better then he is. He’s not that good. Sorry folks. (Lol)
 
I’ve been very high on Bolden prior to him even being a college athlete, but after he got that recognition, his play dipped. I don’t need the Demolition Man hair dye; go back to what makes u great...a ball hawking S who’s not afraid to tackle or trust ur instincts. Dude has 1-2 round talent, but he needs to be consistent w/ that.
 
I have no explanation for the Bubba Bolden rollercoaster. He had that 3 or 4 game stretch where he looked like a sure fire first rounder. He was playing like a heat seeking missile with range and coverage skills. Then, the last 3 or 4 games he almost looked undraftable - taking poor angles, not wrapping up and being a step slow. I don't know if he was saving himself, hurt, or mentally not all in but I'll bet on him being the all american type next year.

He is going to be a steal for whomever adds him to the roster next year. One thing about the NFL, they're all good and he'll have far better help up the middle than he ever got here.

Seems like it all fell apart for him after Clemson. Maybe an injury?
 
I hope trob gets him to play to his potential. His tackling was bad. He was taking horrible angles. He played better when he was involved in blitzes. I don't think he likes playing the deep safety. But his size/speed makes him ideal for that. Hopefully when he is the deep safety he can get involved getting pbus and interceptions. I expected him to be a bigger playmaker than he was. Hopefully with manny calling plays and trob coaching him up he'll fulfill his potential

His frame and speed are ideal for fs but he played well blitzing and being up close. When he was the deep safety he took bad angles,rarely made a pbu or interception,took bad angles and missed tackles. He led the team with 16 missed tackles. He can't do that at fs
