I have no frame of reference on Paddy Turner but Paddy is a “mic” name. Padraig or kids with the name Patrick are often called Paddy if their last name ends in a “Y”. Mic = Irish. I believe I am legally allowed to say this due to my ancestry.

I have to look up the kid from BC, has to be a cultural name.
