I mean he wouldn't really come out and say "yeah our guys suck and we need someone next year" either but it's fair to say it's derailing the thread.


Speculating is kind of the whole point of a forum about sports though. At least a large portion of it.

Than maybe people should leave this dumb *** topic about QBs to other threads hermano. This is in live time where things are going on daily. It's not a thread about a kid we won't know about for years. It's the #1 recruit in the country and the rumor atleast is he plans to reclassify and commit. If that's the case than he'll be committed somewhere within a month more than likely. Maybe talk about irrelevant **** in other threads.

Maybe I just don't understand what threads do for people. Is it the recruit and the results that matter or is it you posted it so it has more merit to you? I legit don't know or see the difference so I'm asking. Cause I haven't seen anyone chime in to this past several days worth of dumb **** about portal QBs and guesses and I'm pretty sure that's got multiple threads of it's own. Shouldn't this just be about bryson? Believe it or not maybe people read these that actually care about that topic more than the other.

I didn't imply YOU SHOULDN'T DISCUSS THE FUTURE OF THE QB POSITION. Since we're gonna go with what was implied that would mean we're applying context. What was the very end of that post? Love all the bryson wright news.... That was the end right? So it wasnt implied that Mario stated something about the topic you were discussing that was and still is taking over a thread about a elite recruit. Mario said that. Simple facts. What was implied is how bout take that **** to any other of the various threads about that exact topic and leave this thread for a recruit that is a key piece in any programs future at least from a recruiting perspective. It is what this thread is about, wright right? It's crazy all this needs to be said. Talk about whatever y'all want. It's y'all's brain cells. But talk about it in the proper threads at least which simply shows respect not only to the kid and his people but in this instance far more importantly to the other people on this board who come here looking for news about this kid... I'm guilty of it too. I reply to posts I'm tagged in often in the wrong threads. But the timing is also **** in this one for that. Now I'm shutting up and I don't care what y'all do.

Honestly I get it, not trying to derail and you have a valid point. Think we're all anxious and fiending for some Wright news.

They just need to bring back the Mark Matthews thread for the real derailments.

Slot - Mali, Vance and Eli
Boundary: Josh Moore, Paris, Wright
Flanker: Upshaw, Wingo, Nick

Who am i missing?

When we have run 4 wide this year, who has been the guy on the field? Do we even have a position name/type for WR4 for those packages?

Jacobs? But highly unlikely all those guys would be here next year. At least one will portal.

This should 100% be about Brysen. All other convos should be taken to relevant threads. And I typically don’t care about a thread like that, but I brought this dude to the board right after his first game as a freshman. I’d atleast like to see it survive until he commits and it gets overwritten by his commitment thread.

I’ve got a certain affinity for kids who come from my school (Mandarin).

I don't understand this sentiment at all. Y'all really think Luke ******* Nickel, who has never started a college game, and has played a total of 65 snaps. You think he's good enough to start because he's played 65 snaps against 3rd stringers after the games are over?

Yall want to entrust what is shaping up to be the most talented hurricane teams in decades and arguable the best WR unit the U has ever had to this guy ?


I'm not calling you out, I just want to know what you see and hear to make you feel even remotely confident in 65 snaps, majority against non FBS teams.

I understand what you’re saying. I’m not at practice. I’m not in film rooms and meetings. Say we take a portal QB again (which I’m fine with IF it’s the right dude), the same 65 snap statement is true a year from now. How do we know Izzy Abrams isn’t better/best? There’s a million questions and options. If Luke is the best option in the coaches’s eyes compared to what’s in the portal, so be it. If not, get the best dude we can. (No s.hhit comment inserted for you here)
