2028 Brysen Wright WR Mandarin

Folks gotta realize Coleman just needs to add weight. His arm strength is second to none.
I feel like his body is what eventually will hold him back, there is only so much weight you can add to that type of frame. I understand them taking a chance cause of the arm but I dont see him doing anything cause of his size. Big pause

But thats JMo could be wrong but the elite sustainable dominant teams throughout eras always value size, its important. Big pause

Sorry but as long as Mali is here, I am not potentially wasting a year on a first year starting QB like nickel or Coleman. Give me a portal QB where we know what we are getting
Yea you cant waste his last year, talk to agents and see who is interested in Miami. If its an elite guy with elite college film you go get him. Period end of story, if the guys on the roster are bad or we get stuck in neutral people will blame Dawson or Mario and we will know its the QB. Dont want to read the boards on why aren't we coaching better when it will be the man under centers fault, and we will know that cause we seen this machine work with a good QB. We will know who to blame and I wont be willing to risk it and I am sure Mario wont either. I would be shocked he doesn't go to the portal for QB

Would you prefer Moore or Kamario Taylor?

Taylor but he’s not leaving Starkville.
Loyalty is one thing. And I get that angle of it. But when does his camp step in and say let’s stop getting killed each week playing for a bottom tier SEC team?

Now he’s out for the year, what’s going to happen as he spends months not playing and they start losing every week? QB is the one position that can make serious money now, and in the future. They’ve had one QB drafted the last 55 years. 1. And he went R4.

He might not come here. But I think it’s really premature penciling him in as the starter for MSU Week 1 2027.

Maybe. Odds are against him, but there’s always exceptions to each rule. Bryce Young found success and he’s shorter and around the same weight. Same with Kyler Murray. If he could get to 190-195, I think he could find some success.

I’m fine admitting it might be naive. And I’m always the first one to say anything is possible. I wouldn’t sign my life up to him being there next year. But if you put a gun to my head, that’d be my decision right now. What happened the last 55 years is irrelevant. I think he stays put.

I don't think Coleman is any taller than Young or Murray, despite what he's listed at.

He might not be. But they are comparable players by height and weight.

I get it. I’m just speaking in broader terms. MSU does him no favors other than being his hometown. I could very well see that playing out where he stays in Starksville. Personally, I think if they crater without him and the big players come knocking, which they will, the conversation changes. Does being King in a small town outweigh his health and supporting cast. No matter who he plays for next season, he’s going to get paid something ridiculous.

Dante Moore is gonna tear **** up throwing to Mali, Upshaw, BFye, Sears, Nick, Wingo, Parris, Spafford and the 15 other sick freaks we have catching footballs. Can’t wait.

If BFYE reclasses that will be all she wrote for Knox.

3-star QB Knox Annis

Intel: Miami grabbed an early commitment from Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin quarterback Knox Annis currently sits as the Hurricanes' lone quarterback pledge in the 2028 class.

The Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin product continues to hear from other programs, and I think this is one worth monitoring as things progress. Miami has made Annis a priority, but the quarterback picture in Coral Gables is one to keep an eye on. The 'Canes have top 2029 signal-caller CJ Cypher committed and there is a chance he makes the move up to the 2028 class at some point.

So with a two quarterback class potentially on the table, the situation could change.

Annis remains committed, though I wouldn't rule out other schools making a push as things play out. There are still some moving pieces here, and I think this recruitment has the potential to get interesting down the road.

Blostein got the ball rolling on Knox's departure.
Appreciate yo service Knoxy meng, Knox's Ace> Deejay's.

any chance Mensah loves making $10 mil a year living in Miami, and wants to play Mali’s final season? Never know…the money these kids are paid makes anything possible?
I don’t think it happens, but if it does, he instantly becomes a superstar and the face of college football. The NIL deals would be insane, and the coverage of him and Mali for one more year would be nonstop.

The only reason it could even be a possibility is Mali.

Mensah may come to the conclusion that he wants another year with the best wide receiver he will ever play with in his career. Greatness.

The numbers they would put up would be ungodly. Then throw in A1, Wright, Nick, Wingo, Lofton, the younger TEs, and a second year Mallory. That offense would be absolutely ridiculous.

Mensah been starting 3 to 4 full college seasons already and is on track to be top ten pick according to the draft experts. Absolutely no reason to come back to college if this trend continues

The scariest part of this whole thing is a second year Mallory. Another full off season to change his body is terrifying.
Bring back Samson, get Max back from injury, and have a second year Congdon and Cantwell… Unreal. The crazy part is, this could actually happen. Like you said, I could see Mensah wanting to play with Mali again.
