2028 Brysen Wright WR Mandarin

Anyone got a summary?

Intel on my RPM for Brysen Wright to Miami

The Hurricanes opened the year viewed as the team to watch in Brysen Wright’s recruitment. However, as a high-profile prospect, top programs have lined up and wanted to take their shot at him. Miami had their foot in the door early and set the tone last season. The Hurricanes’ offense has been explosive, and they are coming off a season where they played for a National Championship. When I’ve talked about proof of concept being important in Wright’s recruitment, the intel has long suggested Miami as the program that has best shown that to him.

Florida and Texas emerged this year as other players in this recruitment. Florida State has also been mentioned, but Mike Norvell’s future has been a long-time snag for the Seminoles. Brysen Wright has visited Texas, Florida, and Miami so far this season. He was most recently in South Florida for the Hurricanes’ win over FSU, and the buzz has only grown stronger.

The Florida Gators visited Wright’s school on Thursday, and our intel points to Miami being in the best position. Furthermore, a decision may not be far off.

Another wrinkle I’m hearing to watch is that Brysen Wright could reclassify to the 2027 class. Sources have felt Wright is leaning Miami’s way for months, whether he’s a 2028 or 2027 prospect. The buzz that he could reclassify to the 2027 class is what led me to this prediction. Wright would have a lot less time on the clock to decide as a 2027 recruit than as a 2028.

the 2nd half of the article is a combo of copium & where their focus will be for the '28 class, and pumping their '27 haul.

Yes. He won’t be turning 18 until August of ‘28. Mali turned 18 fall of ‘25.

S/O @cookies for providing proof this earlier in the thread.

From a business and development standpoint- would you rather spend 3 seasons in HS, and 4 in college - or spend 4 in HS and 3 in college?

The money and development would be more favorable to get to college, and if needed, spend 4 years in college. HS is limited money and development for a player like Brysen.

This! He can come to college and redshirt if he wants to. I know it's his life but getting paid to chill in college it's much more appealing than hanging out in highschool with nothing left to prove in highschool.

Chill? College football players do not chill. They work their asses off.

No brainer. 3 HS 4 college. Especially for someone who will get paid like he will.

Even if he’s not quite ready as a FR like Toney was, you’re making life changing money and receiving far superior coaching.

No downside unless you’re someone who demands to start right away and become a head case. Even a redshirt FR > HS.
