2028 Brysen Wright WR Mandarin

Where do ya’ll come up with this ****?
it's a question, not a statement... I don't think it's far fetched to think of a class with (Sears / Nick / Wright / Cali kid), 4 TOP tier kids, including 4 FR WR's taken last year, and Upshaw/Moore getting decent PT this year as Soph, that the one out of state kid might be an option to dip out of the class.... I get that he and wright aren't the same types, but it's a loaded WR room right now....

I thought Sears was playing DB mainly at Miami? Brysen joins the 2027 class and I don’t see how Sears is going to play on the offensive side at all.

The Cal commit is a better WR prospect at this stage in their development… Sears is a freak talent but he needs to add a lot of good weight he’s too skinny and raw to contribute immediately imo regardless of position.

I was picking up some Texas Roadhouse to-go last night and had on my Miami hey dudes and old man with a walker and an old *** yellow FSU hat came out and walked by and said "refs gave you one" and I put him in his place. I've been to that level since the Cotton Bowl win.

I've become un****withable and take **** from no one. Especially FSU fans.
I was dat way when we were losing! Can u imagine now!!!!!?????

Or we could just keep all the talent & let them work it out on greentree
Yeah this is the obvious answer, and if someone dips because they think its too deep of a room so be it, we are c onstantly looking to overrecruit your position and your job as a player is to make it to where we cannot do that. But I do agree it is a deep room and we likely see some attrition:

Wingo - TF got some playing time already, seems high up on the depth chart

Spafford - TF looks like he comes in when Toney is dinged up and they love him, big third down catch last game to move the chains

Paris - TF unique prospect they like but probably a slower burn from development

Tyran Evans - TF candidly somewhat forgot about him, do not hear his name much.

Upshaw - Soph, already a starter

Moore - Soph, nipping on heels of being a starter, he may start getting that injury label though, two years in a row now he has been banged up

Toney - Soph - no need to say anything

Barake - Senior - gone

Jacob RS JR - likely gone regardless

Now try to fit Nick, Woodard, and potentially Wright into the mix (I think A1 starts out on defense) good problem to have but I wont underestimate this staff when it comes to retention as likely NO ONE on the board predicted we would bring Fletch, Marty, Lyle, Pringle, and CWH all back while also adding Mallory.

if Wright re-classes, does the Cali kid flip out of the class? or can we sell him that Sears might be more of a DB?

FTR I don't think Nickel is bad and he could become a very good P4 QB. I just don't think we're gonna roll the dice with an unproven QB in Mali's last year and the surrounding cast. Not when there's the option to cherry pick from the best around.

**** I think Mario might pony up some of his salary to try and get Mensah to come back at this point if this what we’re gonna do in recruiting this year
I’m really starting to believe this is a possibility no matter how the season goes. Unless he is going top 5, I think he actually making more money staying.
