We've seen tons of kid in past who were fans of a school as well as the family and ultimately a business decision was made. But it will be a major battle no doubt. Texas and UF are real threats.

UF has his former qb and momentum so not surprising the hometown team is making a surge. That should be a good game and atmosphere. Was already rooting for Ole Miss and now even more.

I prefer going against Texas then OSU because his dawg Ffrench transferred out, and we can counteract some of their claim to Matthew Golden’s success since he was coached by Shannon Dawson for as long as he was coached by Sark. But unless UF makes the playoffs, hard to see them or even FSU w/ a great new coach threatening us in the way Texas can.

earlier this year, one of the Texas insiders said they weren’t going to get both Sales and Royal, it’s irrelevant that they both OV’d the same weekend. Just how Texas is with their positional budgeting. Royal never flipped as some projected. Royal could end up flipping later, however, if Texas beats LSU at LSU in November i highly doubt it. Royal is a five-star New Orleans native who committed right after Texas beat A&M, before LSU hired Lane. Given how many WRs LSU has in their class, seems like they don’t expect a flip either.

Parallel event is happening w/ Texas’ ‘28 WR cycle. Texas currently leads for Texas native five-star WR Jaylen Addai with ND trailing in 2nd. Jaylen Addai is the type of caliber WR, unlike the one who got CB’d to Texas, whose commitment to UT would be good news because of his five-star prestige. Like w/ Royal and Sales, they aren’t going to spend that type of money on two WRs.

The trick Texas is having to hedge against is that Jaylen Addai is the son of former Colts rb Joseph Addai, who played on LSU’s 03 national championship team. So that’s the type of pedigree that you have to hedge against, and why they are so hyperactive with Wright; even if they feel good about Addai atm.
