2028 Brysen Wright WR Mandarin

Miami is picking up momentum for 2028 freak Brysen Wright

There has been growing buzz about Brysen Wright potentially reclassifying into the 2027 class, but for now, the elite 2028 wide receiver out of Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin remains focused on his sophomore season — and his recruitment continues to accelerate.

Wright already holds offers from programs across the country, yet one school has separated itself in terms of consistent pressure and long-term investment: Miami.

“Miami is on me the hardest,” Wright said. “They were the first school to offer me, so they have been on me hard for a long time. They have never let up. Miami is pushing for me hard and I like what they are doing.”

That early belief has mattered. The Hurricanes’ staff built momentum by identifying Wright before his recruitment fully took off, and they have maintained steady communication since.

“They had a great season and I see them building a bond with each other,” Wright said. “The staff is pushing the players and the program is in a great place. Miami is high on my list.”
