Im late but now im invested to the point ill be hurt if we dont get him lol

Hartline not at osu so im only worried about lsu tbh because of their wr history and lane offense. We should be able to beat that and our wr room lines up for him to play early

Seems to me like we have quite a bit of $ in reserves. Between the playoff $ and the increased support, hoping Mario is planning on going big this next cycle. McFarland, Wright, and Lennear. With our championship run, and putting players in the league, id expect recruiting to go to another level. We check all boxes now.

kids arent going to osu for hartline.

peter ariz could have been the wr coach an got the same results...once you send a few guys 1st round its just a momentum thing. osu has been putting wr in the draft for ages..hartline himself was one of em.

Yea I dont think it stops at OSU, they just know wtf they are doing and have rode that momentum like you said. They pay top dollar for that specific position. I hope that this one time we get this phenom that can change the momentum for us at that spot. This is a huge recruitment that can have a big impact on the future of those narratives around OSU.

Yeah, I always wondered why people overlooked this. Hartline benefitted from the OSU allure at the position. I still dont remember who was the WR coaches at Bama when they were on their run of WRs.

Even here, We've been TE U, WR U, QB U....all with different staffs at different times.

OSU paid the bag and played the players early. Hartline benefited from the offense overall being better than 90% of CF.

Within the last 10 or so years they have gained mad ground where no one matches their wrs, every Sunday their guys go crazy. And their best one out of all of them is in college, crazy ash to stack like that. I think this Wright kid may be better than all of them and thats a crazy thing to say.

Here's the thing tho....we KNOW who these kids are while they are still in HS. We knew the Juedys, Smiths, and so on were must gets out of HS. They weren't "Developed" by X or X school or coach.

We get them out of HS...we can be that new narrative and thats what I want for us. Pay for that reputation.

What got you invested, personal knowledge or something else?

We must. Everybody thought we were getting Jacobs. If they were planning to add him to the obvious guys like Matthews, Lennear and Sears (once he reclassifies), they were expecting to spend big on this class.

That doesn't even include McFarland or Wright or the rest of the class. They're big game hunting. This might actually be the year that "wait until next year's class" finally pays off.
