His pocket presence and maneuvering was strong for a guy making his first start. Y’all can be sour grapes all you want, but we haven’t had that here since the turn of the century
 
It’s fun to rip on our team, but that Alabama offense is going to make a lot of teams look bad. Only chance a team has is to go score for score with them, and I don’t see that happening based on week 1. These offenses for the “top” teams look pretty bad. That said, we left points on the field so it’s certainly possible to put points on them. Will take a **** of an effort.

This is also true. There were so many plays were we were in zone and were nowhere near their receivers. Our spot zone is trash. One of their TDs the ref was closer to the receiver than our defenders.

Not another him on our schedule. We was getting pressure that any other QB would have folded under but this kid was Steph Curry with the shot. Dude looked so nonchalant it was disrespectful.

Exactly this. We made him look better than he is at this point because we have a inept head coach calling defensive plays.
