I don't care what is going on right now, we can't lose Dopson. Fitz is a great talent, but I wouldn't just turn him lose yet. I would think by mid season he is getting a good amount of snaps. If he can tackle, he might take the starting job by late season. Huge talent!

We need him to get more reps. I worry about Poyser not being physically gifted enough. Fitz needs to push him hard and take his snaps if Poyser doesn't step up. I don't think Williams can do it, and Day is really more a strong than a free safety, IMO.

He is our best ballhawk at S already and they know it. They continue to rotate him in 3rd and long situations meaning they trust his coverage ability over the top.

Not a rumor. It’s the truth he had picked everyone off in a span of 2 weeks. Was very rapid ascent up the depth chart in fall.

I am fully aware that this was against Bethune Cookman but that interception in the end zone was one heck of a play! He read the QB's eyes perfectly then dove in front of the WR for the pick. The instincts and awareness necessary to make that play are insane. I'm not sure that Kam Kinchens makes that play. That's most likely a BCC touchdown if Bryce doesn't dive in front of that pass. Just an amazing play and the fact that Fitzgerald actually got the INT as well makes it even better.

Add this to what was being said about him during fall camp(he had at least 1 INT every practice) and the fact that he actually managed to get on the field for Notre Dame and we *MAY* have a player in Bryce Fitzgerald who has the potential to be a difference maker at Free Safety.

PS Please notice the emphasis on the word *MAY*

He was on 4th down where they converted but Lagway late on throw and got his WR (Strudivant) sandwiched by Fitzgerald and Wesley. Knocked the WR out of the game
