Bryant no longer visiting

Happy about this. As some have said he is a better running Verison of Rosier and probably wouldn’t beat out Perry.

Dude is soft as ****. Glad hes not coming here. One of the reasons he decided to cancel was because of some of the tweets a few players made. Im sure that isn't the main reason but its still soft af.

It’s not “soft” to decide against transferring to a place where you’re not wanted by the guys in the locker room. It actually makes perfect sense.

The rule in recruiting is to go where they “need” you, as opposed to where they “want” you. And if they don’t even want you, easy decision.

IMO, I don’t see anyone transferring to sit out next season. Weldon can stay on the roster and transfer out his senior season to play immediately as a graduate. Get your degree, then move on.

And if Justin Fields can wait his turn, Jarren Williams can wait. If he doesn’t want to wait, then take the job from Perry.

That's still a long shot, but what you said was one of them wouldn't be here next season. Like one of them would so clearly be the #1 that the other would see he didn't have a chance and leave before the season even started.

That is wishful thinking of the highest order.

Here's the problem with that: there has to actually be a "competition". Saying there will be or that there is doesn't make it so. WE have already seen how the "competition" went this year. What has changed to make anyone think it will be different? Look at what CMR has already said this week...

I think the other two will think about what has happened and what they believe will happen and make their decision

My point was it doesn't matter if the kid is the best available, I still want him to be an option. Hope for somebody better, but take a kid like that rather than nobody. I get the locker room doesn't like it, but maybe guys should step up before they complain about sht like this. You don't want a transfer QB? Then put us in a position where we don't need one. Even with Richt's mismanagement, if one of these kids had grabbed hold of the job and refused to lose it we would be ok not taking anybody this year. Still not ideal, but ok. As it is we're both thin on numbers and don't have anyone who's clearly the #1 guy. I hope it's Perry, but if he doesn't watch his ***, he'll lose that top spot.

And I wasn't disagreeing with you. We need a QB in this class despite how Richt and company may be trying to spin things.

Good, dude was never coming here. Develop the kids you have on the roster!
CMR's pursuit of Bryant tells me that he still has big question marks in his mind that any of our current QBs is the "answer" to our now 16 year drought at the position.

1. He wants to play. The whole reason he transferred from Clemson is because he wants to start somewhere. Not come in, have to compete and possibly get stuck backing up another underclassman.

2. The issue with the current players being ****ed about him trying to transfer here is public knowledge. I'm sure Bryant has social media accounts and has heard that the team wasn't exactly on board with him coming in.

3. Everyone that wants to take a transfer for depth because one of our quarterbacks is going to transfer next year, who the **** do you think wants to transfer in here to be a third stringer? Certainly not anybody good. The only "depth" QB transfer you're going to get is some bum who's not interested in actually playing but figures a senior season in Miami beat a senior season pretty much anywhere else. So, yes. If you're super desperate for QB depth you can probably pick up a Rosier type player on the transfer wire.

No surprise..I was a person who really wanted kelly or hurts. Adds some maturity and leadership to that side of the ball. Two straight solid starts by kosi probably scared him off. Kid wants to start. Can’t blame him. QB situation.

Some guys do transfer and don’t mind competing. See baker mayfield (even tho he wasn’t a grad nothing was certainly promised). But **** ppl aren’t built like that. Your right about the social media part. The worse part is wasn’t it mostly True fresh and other real young guys who had that energy 😂. It’s crazy. Let’s just hope perry continues to grow along with this oline
