Bryan Pata case update - upcoming bond hearing for Jones

Hi everyone, I wanted to come in and offer my insight on the Bryan Pata case, in particular after listening to the recent podcast. I also understand Omar Kelly has definitely stated that Rashaun Jones did not kill Bryan Pata. I tend to agree with Omar, and Omar is as knowledgeable and connected as anyone in South Florida circles. To me it seems more likely that it had something to do with Patas lifestyle. I’m going to choose my words carefully here but Pata had a number of guns, drove flashy cars, always had a lot of cash on him, had gold teeth, a lot of tattoos, dreadlocks. He was not a friendly looking fellow. Coaches like Randy Shannon said he primarily associated with noted troublemakers like Willie Williams, and others with gang and drug ties. In other words he wasn’t spending his time with guys like Greg Olson, Kyle Wright, or Kirby Freeman. Maybe Pata was dealing drugs and was skimming money from one of the gangs or something? Again, this is not just me saying this-you have noted experts like Omar Kelly saying the same thing.
I'm really proud of you for not calling him a thug. I know how much restraint that took from you.

Omar Kelly has been doing this for 30+ years, bud. He’s as respected and connected as anyone. A gentleman like Omar ain’t publicly saying something like that if he doesn’t have rock solid sources, likely from a a combination of the police, street people, former Miami coaches and players.

"Street people". Like, who, Huggy Bear from Starsky & Hutch?

Please get the **** out of here and never come back again.

First, Omar Kelly knows nothing about this situation. I don't even think he was covering the Hurricanes at the time, he had moved to the Dolphins. "Knowledgeable" and "connected" has zero bearing on this situation.

Second, YOU PERSONALLY know nothing about this situation. I lived in the apartment complex where Bryan Pata was shot, it is gated, it is on a side street, the actual place where he was shot is an interior area with only a few apartments that would have had visibility.

Unlike your GROSS STEREOTYPING, this was not about Bryan's guns or cars or cash or teeth or tattoos or dreadlocks. You are a clueless Nebraska **** who has no ability to gauge or comprehend what is normal about behavior or personal appearance in Miami, particularly the area of Miami where Bryan LIVED and was shot.

Furthermore, Randy Shannon said NOTHING of the type that you have said. You brought up Willie Williams' name solely for shock value. I notice you "contrasted" that name by listing the name of three other players, all of whom are white.

It is obvious what you are doing and why.

You won't be here for long.

And, again, Omar Kelly doesn't know ****. Nor is he an expert. He is not respected and he is not connected. You continuing to repeat that bull**** is evidence of your agenda.
**** we could’ve been neighbors, I’ll never forget that crime scene when it happened. I was in 6th grade at the time.
