He could have suffered the same injury running down a driveway chasing a USPS delivery van.

100% correct! But was he? If not, your argument is invalid.

IF he factually was playing another sport or risk activity and this injury occurred, its on SB 100% for a poor decision. He is a young adult learning and finding his way in life, like we all are or were, unfortunately this incident takes away the depth potential for the Canes.

Personal accountability is tough...especially with the life he now lives...if you arent there, then you diminish your value to your team...

We go over this concept with our young war fighters...99% get it and do therr best to always be ready...1% dont, or even worse game the system, and we have ways of addressing and helping to change that behavior...or move the problem of our teams all together...

Go **** your own face. The **** u want them to do sit around and play Madden and get fat? 19 year old savages should be out playing sports all **** day if they want.

Playing basketball during the season is pretty idiotic.

As opposed to the offseason?

Yep - for obvious reasons

Lol oooook - what does this prove? If you don't see that playing pickup basketball during the season increases your chances of being injured and missing games then I don't know what to tell you.

I faintly recall shannon having to ban basketball during 1 of our seasons because a couple guys got injured.

Have to agree. It's unfortunate the injury happened but it did. I played ball with some UCF guys during the offseason but never saw them during the season.
If a player got hurt running track in the offseason, that's different right? Doing something in the offseason is different than during the season.

i played bball with brock berlin during season and the enire o-line. for anyone who thinks bruce did something abnormal by playing bball during season.

I'd like to go down to the hospital and slap this boy across his face.

What the **** is the difference between during the season and the offseason? So if he broke his leg in April you wouldn't have a problem?

This is stupid

Ever since he signed i had a feeling he was one of those types to come in, always find himself in some perdicament, and end up transferring out a year or two later.

I had the same feeling with Latwan Anderson.

So far, in 2 months, he's received a 3 game suspension and now has a broken leg from a non-football related incident. He's on pace.

"When asked if the injury was severe, as told by a source to the Miami Herald, Wilkerson said, “No, he’s fine.’’

He has a broken leg. I'd say that's relatively severe for a shifty thin wideout

Sounds like she was interpreting the question of severity as in "is he gonna be crippled for life?" Also, he's short but not thin. He's built more like a running back than a typical freshman receiver. Reminds me of Kevin Williams in that regard.
