So current players injured
3rd string receiver* might have been second -Sam Bruce
2nd string receiver- Lawrence cager
Courtel Jenkins- 2nd or 3rd string dt( will be back in a few weeks)
Adrian Colbert -1string cb( will be back in a few weeks
Scott Patchan- 2nd string de
Is anyone else hurt?

Lost bc of suspension/ off the team
2-3 potential starters
Juwon young
Jermaine grace
Alquadin Muhammad
Tyre Brady

We will be fine. I was excited to see Bruce play but coley, Richards, berrios, Harris, Lewis, Mullins, langham are more than enough to get the job done and then you throw in the tight ends.

Colbert and Jenkins should be coming back soon and we have a bye week we are going to be ok

I believe that Owens is still out recovering from his injury.

He could have suffered the same injury running down a driveway chasing a USPS delivery van.

100% correct! But was he? If not, your argument is invalid.

IF he factually was playing another sport or risk activity and this injury occurred, its on SB 100% for a poor decision. He is a young adult learning and finding his way in life, like we all are or were, unfortunately this incident takes away the depth potential for the Canes.

Personal accountability is tough...especially with the life he now lives...if you arent there, then you diminish your value to your team...

We go over this concept with our young war fighters...99% get it and do therr best to always be ready...1% dont, or even worse game the system, and we have ways of addressing and helping to change that behavior...or move the problem of our teams all together...

Owens gray and Gordinier. Missed a few

At least it isn't his knee. Those are where long-term complications could linger. Whereas a broken might not be as serious. Probably out for the season.

Put an intermedullary rod in there and its go time as soon as the skin incisions heal. Leggokes!

Go **** your own face. The **** u want them to do sit around and play Madden and get fat? 19 year old savages should be out playing sports all **** day if they want.

Playing basketball during the season is pretty idiotic.

Seriously though why is he playing pick up basketball in the middle of the season??

He was probably bored because Rick suspended him for no reason. If he wasn't serving this bogus suspension this never would have happened. **** shame if Rick ruined Sam's incredible future with that asinine suspension.

I agree. I bet this never would've happened if he was part of this week's game plan.

Never would have happened. This one's on Rick all the way. The other injuries were just freak occurrences, but this one is Rick's fault.

Are people here really giving the kid for playing pickup?! Do you know how common place this is? It always happens.

Wow the volume...

Interesting perspective you have...to bad it isn't shared by a single executive on the planet in an organization that counts on the physical performance of staff...but, you are right...sounds good...

Absolutely he is a young lion...and young lions make mistakes...sometimes it works out...sometimes it doesnt...operational risk management..google it...

Yahtzee.

This is on Bruce. Suspension or no suspension, Bruce took the risk to play in a pick up basketball game during the football season and now he is ****ed. Putting blame on Richt or anyone else is ridiculous.

Hopefully it isn't anything serious.

Just as Franchise said, if Bruce wasn't sitting out would he have been on that court? Probably not. Thanks Mark...

Why do people always have to ascribe blame?

For the very same reason the majority (or so it seems) never take personal responsibility for their actions and choices.

This young man doesn't need to be put in the public square in stocks and have veggies bounce of his foehead...no reason for that...but it still doesnt absolve the discussion of what choices led to the injury and the consequences, that others beside him (e.g. his team), now have to bear...

Disappointing for all no doubt.

It's Sam Bruce. He can probably just rub some dirt on it or play in a leg cast and still go for 150 yds on FSU.

As opposed to the offseason?

**** right it's Bruce.

His bones are made of Adamantium. The break will heal in the time it takes to watch last week's highlights.

...Thanks Mark...

Brother Cooks...

Do you really believe that???

Lets approach it another way...

"U Know What", as stated, is Shaq Qs father...retired Army (apologies if I have that detail wrong)...

How many posters from last game were falling all over themselves congratulating him for Shaq, how the young athlete was raised, how mature he is in interviews, etc?

100% just as a retired war fighter he deserves every ounce of respect from those who never served...every single bit...

Im purely speculating, in no way am I speaking for U Know...I'm willing to bet $1 he already has had a conversation with Shaq Q about these types of things and the risk/reward...and if he ignored him, again I suspect if we were reading about Shaq Qs basketball injury instead of Bruce's, no doubt his father would be loving him up, but Im.thinking there might have been a "what were you thinking!?" part to the conversation as well...
