Bruce is 83, Haskins is 85, Richards is 82 & Michael Irvin II is 87.
I'm guessing Richt has a rule for the Frosh that they can't get single digit numbers right away.

michel wore #1 his freshman year at uga.

This isn't Georgia. This is Richts alma mater. He may play by a different set of rules here.

It could be as simple as it being a new staff grouping the players #'s according to position to limit confusion on their end. They've got a 100 names to remember and it's not easy when everyone has a helmet on.
