Any reason he didn't get jersey #6 ? I know Carter has it now, but we have many duplicate O/D #s already. Just curious.

I just think they're tryna make freshman earn their numbers only reason I can come up with
 
doesnt look like they really gave any of the incoming frosh double numbers. thinking/hoping they are doing away with them.
 
The whole jersey number thing is inconsequential to me. Who wore 26 before Sean Taylor? Does it matter? He made that number.

If Bruce wants to change his number, I don't care. But if he wants to be the man, it won't matter what number he wears. He could make 83 legendary by being a boss.
 
Bruce is 83, Haskins is 85, Richards is 82 & Michael Irvin II is 87.
I'm guessing Richt has a rule for the Frosh that they can't get single digit numbers right away.

If they use Bruce as a PR, he and Carter then cannot be on the field at the same time. Carter I would imagine will see some time on Special Teams. That could be it.

Too many double numbers right now, Richards can wear #3 after Coley graduates & Bruce can wear #6 after Jamal Carter leaves.
