Not sure where to add board related questions. Can we get a sticky thread for the schedule?

admittedly I should have supported the CIS team before this point, I just never actually bought the subscription because the ads never really bothered me

but whatever update was done in the last few days made this website virtually unusable on safari without purchasing so I guess congrats you got another subscriber but whatever was done was is ruining a lot of the free user's experiences

We’ve not made updates in months.
 
I purchased the ad free experience last year and it just expired... holy **** is the site stuffed with ads that not only are incredibly annoying, but loading all of the ads makes my computer struggle.

I am not going to knock DMoney or others as it takes money to run a site and they should get some coin for what they provide us, but if you are browsing this site on the non-ad free version, do yourself a favor and pay to get rid of the ads - if you can swing the ~$2 per month, it is totally worth it and more.

Andrew, back when you first announced this program of paying the $25 yearly cost to go “ad free”, I signed up, and fir the automatic renewal To my surprise, about two months ago, I started seeing all these ads popping up. I tried contacting someone to see why I again seeing all these annoying ads. No response. The ads are so annoying t that last week I signed up again and posted for the automatic renewal, and despite all this, I still get theses annoying ads all the time?????

When did you renew? Do you have any other accounts?

Just a suggestion but it would be nice to have a "trending posts" section similar to trending threads. Posts throughout the day with the most reactions. It'd be like a highlights of the day type deal.
Or maybe even a filter on each thread with "most reactions".
I get busy and try scrolling through some of these active threads to find the "nuggets" but sometimes there's so many pages to skim thru. Just a thought @Andrew @DMoney

If the content was worth $25, you wouldn’t need to spam it to death with ads just to make it readable. Blackmail is no way to run a business. “Let’s make it so unbearably frustrating that they’ll have to pay us!!!”

It’s worth the $25 to everyone except folks who can’t spare the price of a lunch for great content year around.

Thank you for encouraging me to sign up for premium again. I do have to say that not all the annoying stuff is gone as I can still see your posts.
