Brantley is the alpha in this class, especially for the MNW guys. IMO he’s the reason all the NW guys are almost a lock.
It’s interesting because he isn’t the highest rated guy, is a tweener in terms of his size but seems to be the one others follow. Sometimes the most important thing to identify in a class isn’t the best player but the one with the most pull.

He seems to know who and what he is and is comfortable with that. A real good dude.

Kids don’t care about the ratings. They know who the DOGS are!!!

Tweener Tight ends are sensational in this offensive scheme. SMU had a similar TE to what KB will be and he had a big year. He’s the perfect tight end. He can play at 225-230 ( saying if he doesn’t pack in a lot of weight he could get bigger) and still be a problem!

Agreed. I think Manny, if all thinks hold true here for the 2021 class and we land LT, will have landed 3 nice classes in a row especially given our record these past 2 seasons. Now, develop the kids and utilize a top flight OC/WR/OL coaches to put some fire on film on the offensive side of the ball while playing very good to great defense. Kids will gravitate to both if they can see the offense actually looking like a 21st century offense.

Reminds me of some guys who played tight end under Dennis Erickson. Never really tall or big but they could run.
