Brini Decommits from UGA

Getting Brini or Collier give us the flexibility to start Dallas as a wr and see how he develops early one. I know bc seems to be where he'll start but the guy is such a playmaker with the ball in his hands it would be nice to try him on offense first.

A Wr class of Dingle, wr/te e.njoku, and Dallas is good enough this year.

A cb class of bandy, Edwards (smooth cb) and either brini or collier is still an excellent cb class.

At this point I'm on board with Dallas at WR but they may need him to play some CB in 2017. Unless they get another grad transfer as good as Colbert.
Redwine and Jackson should be good by then. And hopefully Young can step up to the slot position because Jaq Johnson will be full time starting at safety.

Pete did say in his last Work that Brini been telling folks secretly that he was gonna flip to us. Staff didn't believe it. Maybe they will now.

Btw, speaking of UGA..Hi Maurice Smith! Lol. The two teams you $hitted on are both in the top 10 and the team you begged to spend your final year of eligibility at is about to lose 3-4 games this year!

That's why you can't chase a coach if he ****ted on you at Alabama for more talented underclassmen. I wonder if he was on that Hail Mary play.

Yes he was in on the Hail Mary, I remember watching and thinking I bet he misses Alabama right about now...

Him and Carter were awful on that play,I can only imagine what their coaches said to them when watching that film.

Well apparently a miracle in Latavious Brini's eyes has occured according to this video from August.

If/when he announces for Miami, the staff should put the young man on a short recruiting leash in terms of no visits other than Miami or don't commit until signing day (if there is room in the 2017 class) because of his past history of playing games with the staff.

Different and more competent staff

Are we still recruiting him?

It appears we were on Brini early and then cooled which pushed him to Georgia. Not sure we will get back on him.

He decommited because he wants one of those **** cakes.

Staff was on Brini hard few months back. Staff stayed on him through his ga commit. Was still recruiting even with Henderson committed. Word has it, he was secretly telling friends he's going to flip to Miami. Attending his second game Sat. Decommitted from ga. Regardless what our evaluations are, the staff apparently high on the kid. Lastly, you don't think he's good, check out his offer list. Everybody we love to hate and win recruits over.

Pete syas he is overrated then he is overrated...Do Not want

Pete also thought trayone gray was the next Todd gurley
No one is perfect on these kids but if Richt and this staff think he is an offer. I'm good with that

A whole bunch others im missing that we were drooling over had the same treatment brini is getting right now and havent scratched the surface yet. JC is the exception he'd be all world if he couldve stayed out of trouble. But other than that nope... he should be dominating like Ahmon Richards was on both sides of the ball at wellington... he looks like he gonna need a redshirt yr or two fhagedabouid

Young should be able to but I also think Bandy is a day 1 kid. That's a pair of really good athletes in the slot.

I would take Nick Roberts over Brini ;/

I might get murdered for this, but I think we need 3 more Corners this class. I don't want to hear about the 2018 class. If the 2018 class is loaded with studs, fine. Let em beat out the guys in front of them. And no, we won't risk turning ANY of them away if they really want to be here. We need an immediate and complete overhaul at the DB position to provide legit depth. I'd be more than ecstatic with Brini, Collier, and Roberts.

But as has been mentioned, don't be surprised if another stud CB emerges out of nowhere and gives us a look either.

We gotta let the season shake out. No one had Mark Richt on the radar as a coach this time last year. Who thought FSU would be where they are right now? Kirby Dumb has been less than stellar. USC might be looking for another coach AGAIN. Long time til' signing day.

Trayonne shouldve played WR his body was in the mold of AJ and he has speed. All he needed was proper coaching and work ethic to perfect his craft or play safety. Never got the move to RB. I didnt want to give in the first three years but its sad to say he is officially a jag.

I haven't been high on Brini mainly due to his speed and that I've heard he's soft. Whether or not that is true idk, but the guy that told me that usually has a pretty good evaluation.

As far as speed, he makes up for what he lacks with extra length. I just watched his film again yesterday, he tackles well. The first play of his highlight shows you that. He looks pretty natural with solid ball skills. Just still a little stiff, not quite as fluid as Edwards (not many kids are at 6'2-6'3 which is why I'm high on him) but its possible he improves in the speed and fluidity in the weightroom and with better coaching.

I've been saying I don't want him, but its hard not to take a solid player in your backyard in a position of need. If the staff thinks he's a take, then I'm fine with it. I'm just impressed that we're not even a week out of a decommit and already have a player lined up to replace him. Not like we're flipping him from FIU either, we're flipping him from UGA.

His HS coach, Aubrey Hill, pretty much said you're a fool if you don't play him at WR.
