Bring me your attacks, but I'll just go ahead and say it!

Can we walk a bit before we start challenging Bolt to races? 11-1 or 12-0. Please stop. I love the passion but the D line and the OL are not getting this team to 12-0 or 11-1. Overcoming adversity is not a ****tail that is cured over night.

We should go 12-0 with that schedule.
Should

Crazy, how such a small word can create such anxiety, but I'm optimistic. I like the feel coach Diaz is creating around the program. I'm on board with the moves he's making, etc. If we get s guy that can distribute the ball, to the playmakers, that'll make a huge difference.

Y’all are literally drinking the koolaid and have your goggles on. 10 wins should absolutely be the benchmark for this upcoming season but let’s see how the offense shapes up and also defense is going be a ? mark with depth and talent.

This is more realistic. Besides, there’s too many new pieces on the scene, is one spring enough to bring it all on the same page? Will they all pan out? Wait and see is all we can do.

I didn't want to get SUPER Blasted by mentioning playoffs, but we are totally getting set up to be an under the radar Cinderella play off team. LOTS of smoke will be blown up Clemson's ..... over the next 8-11 months. We Canes have see it all happen to our team in either direction. These are not super men in SC. It's one team of college students playing another team. Anything can happen in the ACCCHGM.

I know this is all cart before the horse, but I'm sick of living in negativity! Bring on the dogs of war and let's shock the nation like only Hurricanes can do!!
Doesn't Clemson lose like three stud DLs? Can they replace them?

1st, a caveat - nothing is certain in this life and definitely not in FCB. Not me, but many assumed BAMA was gonna blow out Clemp'sson and there are many other examples. So, obviously, that truth applies to my naive statement below.

Having said that, I predict a regular season record of 11-1 or 12-0 IF: Hurts comes, JT returns and the new DC is able to pick up where MD left Off with the D. These seem like very doable things.

On paper, our hardest game is against the Gaytors and with the above written scenario, I don't see why they would beat us. On paper, with the way the team is set up now, we shouldn't lose to anyone on next year's schedule. Ball bounces the wrong way and we lose to PITT or something stupid, which would put us at 11-1. ACCCHGM is another thing and let's just get through the regular season 1st.

Of course, preseason, we were predicted as a favorite in all 12 games and we saw how that ended, but nonetheless, it's a new day, and I'm feeling optimistic!

Alright, I said it! Let the blasting begin!!!!
Are you saying we will be good, or just less ****** than our scheduled teams?

I expect 12-0 every year. I'm usually disappointed.

Fvck it, I'm all in with the OP.

Florida game as a barometer. Take it from there. Wanna see us play like we back. That being said, we should never not win the Coastal. Bare minimum

I'm excited to see the new staff/attitude/roster this season, makes me wonder if this could be the next rebuild to greatness. I wonder if this could be like the 99 season, where we were almost there but dropped a few bad losses, i'd love it if it shapes up to be like 2000

Seems perfectly reasonable and achievable expectations. Also, not getting blown out on the ACC championship game isn't too much to ask for.

We lose a lot of experience in the secondary and the DL in #4, 22, 9 and 99. We actually might be better from a raw talent perspective (aside from 9) but experience and football smarts we likely regress.

What we lose on defense we should make up on offense, and the OL should be better with kennedy and halfway competent coaching.

No Miami team should ever win less than 10 games and next year is no different even if Jarren is the QB. If you can’t consistently win 10 games at Miami then you flat out cannot coach.

If Hurts or Martell comes and plays next year I can see us going 11-1 but 10-2 is most likely.
