Bring In Nay’Quan Wright

Correct, but RBs with mediocre measurables get exposed in the P5 more often than not. Whos the last UM back to start here like that? 5th year mike james?

If he’s anything like Mike James you take him. Mike James played in the league. UM needs more players like Mike James. Heart, hustle and he bled orange & green.

Wright is not coming to this program the shape it is in now. Dream on if you think so.

He's not coming. Not a guess not a hunch leave it at that. I'm only posting this so no one's is disappointed. We need to find out if Carter or Davis are interested. O and brownlee probably gone as well but that's not final.

4.7 shuttle and 29" indicate he lacks explosiveness. Combined with his stature thats not a recipe for success.

For reference duke ran a 4.16 and had a vert of 35"...also a quicker 40.
Agree. I don't see this as a miss

Wright is average at best but it look like we will be giving away free scholarship to lot of average players just to fill roster spots. 3 months ago we were mocking and joking FSU and UF 😅😅

I wouldn’t take RB this year and focus on another OL or WR or TE. Burns, Dallas, Lingard, Davis, Homer in 2019. Then take 1-2 in 2020 to replace Homer.

Not bothered about not offering Wright, there's bigger issues than Wright, you can find a rb of similar or better caliber

Hes committing dedc 1 so not sure about that either

Yup. And put up a top 2 of KSU and Pitt, I believe. **** shame. He may lack top end speed, but he is an explosive, one-cut runner with very good size and balance.

Jit can't stand Miami & doesn't like the staff for not offering him.

Back in 2016 when CC was going on a run in the playoffs & eventually became State champs, if we would've offered him around the same time we offered Cam'ron Davis he would be ours right now. He was hurt back then so I think we backed off, but we offered Cam in January of 2017 right after the playoffs.

The reason why I think it was significant is because the relationship was somewhat better then, during that time **** near that whole CC squad was really high on Miami. Most of them were wearing Canes gear during that playoff run & talking us up big time. We wound up gettin Wilder & Cam off that team, Randy Russell committed but was just playing us & we woulda 100% got Yasir Abdullah if we wanted him.

Since then, it's just been all bad with Nayquan & Miami, he ain't coming no matter how hard we push. We simply waited too long & I doubt Coach Brown was ever really interested to begin with.
Mutually disinterested makes sense👍🏽
