First of all, she couldn’t possibly be a worse kicker than Baxter.

Second of all, if a scandal emerges from this, and the coach makes inappropriate comments, it’ll provide us with a reason to fire Manny Diaz. Especially if it’s coupled with a 70-3 loss that Manny will probably suffer sooner or later.

So what if I’m from the UM athletic department? If somebody from the UM athletic department was searching for ways to get Manny fired, they’d be one of the few good people in the department.

Anyway, I’m trying to get Diaz fired in the Gary Barnett fashion for in case you haven’t figured out. Barnett was fired either because of Katie Hnida, or because Katie Hnida provided Colorado an excuse to fire Barnett after losing 70-3 to Texas. (Depending on who you believe.)


Once we finish 3-9, and suffer at least one really epic rout (not to a team that wins the national title), we can use some comments Diaz makes about alleged attacks on the female kicker as an excuse to fire him after just 1 year. And given Manny’s personality, he seems like the very type of person who would make “boy will be boys” comments about a rape.

I think we should give her a shot, just cause. Who cares if she can't kick, it'll put butts in the stadium lol.
