To all my haters!

He will bring accountability and toughness. But his career record isn't especially encouraging.
C'mon bruh. He's been a head coach at Arizona in a time when pac 10 was on point & coaching at Kentucky in the sec... Even being competitive is impressive. On top of everything else what people fail to realize is what we need out of a coach has zero to do with his record & EVERYTHING to do with his approach. His philosophies & accountability. He literally just showed y'all everything y'all should want out of any coach...

Accountability was literally the first thing I mentioned while praising the guy so yeah I'd say I emphasized it as being important

I don't understand why we're crowning this guy. He's 54-50 for his career. Has only surpassed 8 wins once in his career. And sure he beat UF, but his QB only threw for 87 yards in that game.

How is this coach going to take us out of mediocrity when he has lived in mediocrity his entire career? If he was as good as people are touting him to be, he would've been poached by another SEC school already.

Record does matter. I dont care what a coach does or how he runs his practice as long as he wins and graduates kids. Just like fans only complain about the turnover chain when the defense looks like ****

He does more with less, which is a strange concept for us because we’ve had the exact opposite for 2 decades.

His job is the equivalent of Rutgers in the B1G, where every team he plays has a talent advantage.

For once in his career, give him a roster more talented than his opponents and let’s see what happens.

Disagree. Our floor would be 9 wins a season, except maybe the 1st year where he is completely reshaping the culture and cutting out the cancer.
Think about it. If any great coach like Urban, Saban or even Dabo had been at Kentucky 8 years wouldn't they have made Kentucky into a power by now? They'd have at least been in contention for an SEC crown once.

Stoops doesn't have the super powers necessary to push us over the edge. Yes we will average about 9 - 10 wins but we're still going to be coming up short against the big guns and eventually the fans will demand a championship. I don't think Stoops will ever deliver that.

Jimmy Johnson was 29-25 while at Oklahoma State. So sometimes the record doesn’t match the coach. I think he would be a great hire for our program. We haven’t had a coach get 100% effort from our players in decades. He gets that out of his 2-3 stars. He’s overachieved at UK.
