Bring back Jedd Fisch as OC

We can do better. A young offensive minded stud from a lesser power would come here in a heart beat after taking a look at this roster. We are just desperate right now so anything (Fisch) is better than what we have now but we don’t want that.

I liked fisch....hence the past tence.
Been wanting Kendal Briles since game 2 of FAU last year....

Dude would be legendary here...and probably be in CFP with a Heisman winner...

I know Dorsey has been mentioned and dismissed here, but I think he would work really well as a OC. I remember one of his strengths as College QB was his knack for studying film, and it showed in his play. I have no doubts that he can game plan lights out if given the opportunity here. An added plus is his experience as QB coach.

Would love Jedd, his only down fall is recruiting. He doesn’t like to do it.

-Dorsey
-Kendall
-Lilly

Would he even consider bringing back Coley?

People on here were *****ing about Fisch when he was here. We need someone that is young and innovative.

last think we need is another sandlot spread offense

we need to be able to establish a run game....Jedd Fisch would be a good start

Soooo, you're a 3 to 5 star HS offensive back, lineman, receiver - whatever. You watch a couple of games and unless you are a complete idiot you see offensive play calls that remind you of your Pop Warner days - you don't even take the phone call much less visit.

Sterlin Gilbert is young and has already developed an impressive track record. He's had Jimmy G at Eastern Illinois and has produced dominant running games, lit up the passing game, and worked with dual threat QBs.

He's very good at adapting to the players he has and playing to his team's strengths. Won't be any of the "if I had my guys" or "if they all executed" or "we need to impose our will for the plays to work".

Throwing a name out there of OC would be Matt Canada. He was the OC at Pitt a couple of years ago. He has maryland right now scoring some points and he will probably be out a job come the end of the season at maryland. Think he would make it more interesting game plans with our weapons

He had an issue with Orgeron trying to slow down and put his say in his offense. I'm sure Richt would do the same exact thing

2011 Jacory Harris 65% 8.3 20-9 (8 fewer INTs than the prior year)
2012 Stephen Morris 58.2% 7.9 21-7 (Year after Fisch leaves Morris INTs go up by 5)
Fisch had the QB throwing alot to the tailback. Duke had like 40+ catches in year one if i remember correctly.

Statistically, Jedd had worse offenses than what we've had here under Richt. His crowning achievement was getting Jacory to cut down on his interceptions while his offense scored less points and gained less yards than his predecessor.
