"I'm happy to announce that I will be committing to the University of LSU"Can you spell LSU? You're in!
I'll give you the short list summary as I don't have all day:****..wtf did he do to make u this mad lol
Amen, and thats the reality$10 million a year and no academic/enrollment standards go a long way too.
Yea I'm sure the truckload of cash was completely secondary. And he gleaned everything ESPN says in his one 45 minute phone call. Maybe his agent told ESPN he said "oh. You're actually going to PAY me for this wonderful opportunity??"ESPN reports that Kelly said he was drawn to the job by the ALIGNMENT from the LSU President, to the AD and on down. In other words, he isn't interested in jumping through hoops (middle men/women) to get his job done.
We will find out. He’s not a bad coach IMO but that doesn’t mean he’s saban level. He’s a horrible human being based on what we see in the media, but that generally goes hand in hand with being a successful coach.I would be surprised if Kelly is a bad hire. Tremendous upgrade across the board for them. Saban and Smart could send him to early retirementbut Kelly has had too much success at multiple places: d2, CMU turned around, Cincinatti improved a ton, and being one of the best ND coaches in a very, very long time in an era where ND has lesser relative power to recruit consistent elite athletes than ever before.
My dad's a domer so I've been out there mainly to spend a weekend with him. We went to the player walk to the stadium and Kelly is a tiny dudeNah he’s the little brother who kept falling in the snow. “Ralphie I can’t get up”
We'll even spot you the L and the S...Can you spell LSU? You're in!
Pretty sure this was exactly what he said too when he mentioned getting the best athletes,$10 million a year and no academic/enrollment standards go a long way too.
He implies it at the end with the scissor lift mention. Kelly literally sent a student up a scissor lift in like 50 MPH winds to get practice video. To the surprise of no one said scissor lift was toppled by wind resulting in the kid dying.****..wtf did he do to make u this mad lol
Way overpaid @ ND and now LSU. Bad hire by LSU.Giant douche and wish him nothing but the worst. Terrible hire.
You hear it all the time during commitment ceremonies. Amusing."I'm happy to announce that I will be committing to the University of LSU"
Rip to the kid.. but I’ll be damned if anyone could’ve told me to get up there in those conditions. Sucks thoHe implies it at the end with the scissor lift mention. Kelly literally sent a student up a scissor lift in like 50 MPH winds to get practice video. To the surprise of no one said scissor lift was toppled by wind resulting in the kid dying.
