Brian Kelly program changes

Mentioned this before, as much as I dislike the guy, you have to tip your cap to a guy who can look in the mirror and make changes like that. I dont think Richt is that kind of guy, he gets all defensive at any questions of his offense even when the evidence shows otherwise. This guy has his own interest with his son above the university.

He needs to be fired again before he might look in that mirror
 
Great post and point, something I’ve been as an example. Kelly was about to get run out of town, changed his demeanor and coaches, has been in the playoff conversation two straight years. No reason Richt can’t do the same.

You don't get it. Mark richt gets defensive because he can. Take a look at our local reporters. We have two ******* Housewives who haven't asked a relevant question in their entire professional careers. So they let Mark richt get away with his bull****. All he has to do is look at them a certain way and they crumble. Even some of the guys crumble as soon as richt gives them a certain look. Only Barry tries to go in and even he doesn't go in like he should.

That is not an intelligent statement. For most people it is very difficult to make substantive changes to the person they are and to how they respond to things happening around them. It takes intelligence and self-awareness to be able to make those types of changes. Just because Kelly possesses those qualities does not mean that Richt does as well.

Thanks for not having a revenant post to provide this thread. I’d rather get smoked by Clemson in the CFP instead on getting pummeled in the Concrete Jungle Bowl any day of the week. I said earlier this year Brian Kelly knew his job depended on him making changes. Let’s hope Richt sees that too.

Let's hope rick decides shuffleboard is more fun than "coaching" football.

In addition, Kelly has had more coaches graduate and take better jobs elsewhere... a sign of a good coach.

Richt doesn’t have a great list of guys learning and growing under his tutelage. Don’t say Bobo either
 
They aren't similar at all. People just hope that the same thing happens and the same result will occur.

Outlier result. But Notre Dame is on an entirely different level than Miami, and always eligible to rebound. So many resources. You can't take any of the programs that have had comparatively short term excellence and try to wish them into the same category as the true legendary blue blood programs.

It's not their job to ridicule him with questions you ****head. It's their job to write or report what they think. If they get emotional and idiotic like say you, they won't be back there. You live in some fantasy world where reporters need to care like you. Grow the **** up

Yep. And he realized pretty quick he was going to need to adjust if he wanted to coach for a bigtime program.

It was beautiful what Manny Diaz did to him that night last year.
