First thing I thought of when I heard about this documentary.
First thing I thought of when I heard about this documentary.
the 30 for 30 underwhelmed. the structure of it was weird (ie storage scene). he was a beast in colleges, sans the UM game, but was a flop in the NFL. the documentary gave no insight into how he made the transition from a narcissistic college player to a busted NFL player to a remorseful mature adult.
Yeah i was really disappointed. The "Boz" was such a great story, they could have really done a better job with it. I thought it would be more like the Marcus Dupree episode, showing the college and pro but then how he got to where he is now. Dupree's story really touch a nerve with me. I felt nothing watching the Boz. The scenes with his son in the storage facility were a bit awkward and felt forced.

I actually think the "storage scenes" were very creative. I mean seriously, there have been about 5 of these on 30for30 already. He had to find a way to make it different then the others. Esp since the Dupree story was one of the best ones.
The poster who said he would have fit in perfectly at UM during those days was spot on..But that was natures way of making UM somewhat mortal. It really would not have been fair.
I wasnt aware that he snitched in that book though. Funny that he was kind of blaming it on Rick Reilly. Like Rick fabricated alot of the stuff. Lol. Yeah right.
I remember on one play Boz chasing Vinnie back and forth all over the field behind the line and Vinnie completing a pass. That play alone killed Boz.

Sans the UM game, didn't he have 22 tackles that game.

Barry Switzer looked like he aged quite a bit and looked a little frail.
