Perspective is everything but im not sold he’s coming back, especially with King done.

I’ve completely changed my time about him this past week. I’d love for him to stay but If we’re being brutally honest here... Kid has zero reason to come back if Lashlee refuses to target him and use the middle of the field. I mean if he can’t get the ball when we have the worst receiving core in school history, what makes you think next year will be any different? Tonight was indefensible.

A full, injury-free season can raise his draft stock into a sure first-round prospect, not just a 'maybe'.
 
Humility. That one drop didn't erase any of his outstanding play tonight, but rather than point those great plays out, he picks the one that hurt. That's a guy who's hungry, will work hard to be the best he can be, and someone whose teammates will respect.

Baller, hope he comes back, but I'll be surprised if he does.

I said that a couple days ago, but idk anymore that he’ll have the production to get there. He could be an early second rounder. Maybe I’m just in a bad mood after that game.

Haha. Aren't we all?

I think a full season lets the NFL he's not injury prone. His film shows he's a playmaker, but he can't make plays if he's not available.

We as fans can admittedly be selfish when confronted with these things, but I swear that my first thought when I saw the injury wasn’t about his availability for the game or 2021—it was “****, this kid doesn’t deserve this”. Terrible that someone of such high moral character could have to face so much adversity at such a young age.

Definitely a play maker on film, but to be a first rounder at TE these days you have to be an elite athlete. Idk that he will test well enough to make that jump. We’ll see hopefully he comes back.
