your coach of the year lost 23-16 to wake forest 1 week ago, which would trigger a nuclear meltdown on this board
 
So right now we know King, Harley, and Roche are good so far.

Little steps.

Now we just have to hope they and no one else tests positive between now and Friday because I think there’s one more test.
 
For all my old school fans out there; do u recall a time Miami was so secretive with the ongoing of the team, or constantly invoking the “private school” clause to withhold information?

I feel like ever since Richt, all information pertaining to this team, when it’s not good, is held lock & key. I’m wrecking my brain as to recall when everything was so secretive or covert statements were used.

There’s actually two more tests between now and Friday, so it’s moot anyway

Good find, like I said, I don’t follow VT nor care to google their coaches quotes. All I know is dude won multiple games missing 15+ players and top assistant coaches.

Lets see if Mandy can as well.

I'm just commenting on what I saw, and they played awfully good for a team missing so many players and coaches. Any coach would probably prefer not to play so shorthanded, but sometimes you gotta give a guy credit. And Fuente deserves a boatload of it for getting some incredible results missing so many players and coaches.

Do you guys sit around all day just looking for faqqy "gotcha" moments even when they're fake as fck like this? He lost to Wake with a team that's about on par with Wake. If we lose to Wake with a team that recruits way better than Wake, then it's a different story, but I wouldn't expect guys like you to get that.

Not everything requires you dopes to run to Mabo's rescue. Fuente has done an INCREDIBLE job this year with his roster and coaching staff decimated for much of the season. But go ahead and turn that into some dopey Diaz rescue agenda.

Agreed. I wasn't necessarily throwing shade at your comment. I was just making it clear that they played that game because they HAD to. I think any coach, given the opportunity would take the postponement rather than having to play minus 15-20 players. It's just that VT had already used their mulligan in week one.

This right here. It’s ok to give other coaches credit when it’s deserved. Fuente has done a **** good job this year.

It actually goes back to the Shannon days when every single person on the roster had an upper or lower "extremity" injury and was listed as "questionable". Honestly, it's not a bad tactic and we're hardly the only team who muddies up the injury report prior to games. ****, just last week, we were positive UVA's quarterback hadn't cleared concussion protocol until we saw him on the field warming up. Turns out he had been practicing with the team for at least two days prior to the game. Bronco was just pretending he was still injured.
