Brevin, GR15, and Shaq - All ACC 1st Team

What exactly is a great year for a linebacker
He looked worse this year than his freshman year, in my opinion. He looked indecisive as **** all year long. If he didn't have a straight kill shot, he was often run right by. You watched every game, just as I did. You tell me, what screamed 1st team All ACC to year about his play THIS year?

for starters...........185 tackles, 75 TFL, 3 INT for TD, fumble recovery for a TD, 5 forced fumbles, 10 pass break ups, 10 sacks, a punt return, 2 throwing touchdowns, and a fumbleruski TD run.
Dan Morgan stats?

It probably took what, 3 weeks maybe, for GR15 to get legit snaps? He is a legit national AA candidate next year. Great find by who ever scouted that kid.

I am a bit surprised by Shaq. Not a knock on the kid in the slightest. Just thought that he didn't pass the eyeball test as a 1st team guy. He was solid and a great commander of the defense, but he is a 2 down linebacker in modern football, IMO. Simply doesn't have the sideline to sideline speed to be a 3 down guy. But still very happy for him and wish him the best in the league.

I also have a feeling we are going to see a lot of posts next year saying we were harsh on Pink and Shaq when they were here but would love to have them back now. Next year's LB room has me feeling veryyyy uneasy.

He had 2 nfl guys behind him at safety his freshman season 1 a safety in rayshawn Jenkins who has started all year for the chargers and 2 Jamal carter who has started a few games for the falcons and plays a lot now, he didn’t have that behind him this year to clean up some of those mistakes that weren’t as obvious back then as they were now. I agree He does jump himself out of plays sometimes and guesses too much as a linebacker but 96 tackles season 15.5 tfls isn’t nothing to scoff at either

LMAO @ the bozos on here saying "UM player XYZ should have NOT been on the All conference team". WTF are yall talking about?? Be happy for the young men and move on. I didn't see this coming but I'm **** sure happy for them. And I **** sure don't expect them to give the honor back either because bozos on CIS say they need to.

Shaq like other recent players has become the face of the underachieving Canes. He's much better than people give him credit for. He takes **** because he isn't Ray Lewis or Dan Morgan. If Miami had better coaching and won more games people would look at him in a different light.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. In spurts, Shaq does make dummy mistakes, but his entire body of work is legit. Bravo to this kid and the rest of them that made the lists.

Brevin and Rousseau at 1st team is not shocking at all. Brevin's a Mackey award finalist and Rousseau finished leading the season leading the nation in sacks behind Sam Young. Shaq's a bit surprising, but I thought he was going to land 2nd team. Pinck is where he should be.
Shaq isnt suprising
