He played in 10 plus games last year and wasn’t that productive

Exactly UGA wouldn't have got rid of him if he was at least decent

Remember how they talked **** about Manny for taking a 5* in Phillips. Funny how those rules dont apply to them. Cant wait to smash them in a few weeks. They'll be calling for Mullens head

He hasn't done **** at UGA. I wouldn't say it was a big get for them. Especially considering it's doubtful he'll be ready for our game.

Jesus Christ guys. What in the **** is everyone smoking? He's not getting an NCAA waiver to play in 2 god**** weeks. Chris Steele took 3 months. Jordan Travis at FSU enrolled in January and is still waiting. Aubrey Solomon transferred to Tennessee in December and is still waiting. Get a grip. For one, this kid hasn't proven a thing. He barely played last year as a true freshman, and has had SEVERAL issues. Two, the game is in 15 days. This kid will be incredibly lucky if he 1. Has the waiver decided on this year and 2. If it's ruled in his favor that he's immediately eligible.

He has a small chance to play this year. He has 0 chance to play against Miami.

Dude was dismissed from UGA and transferred to Florida and is already practicing.

If you are dismissed do you have to sit out a year?
Here's the SEC transfer rule within the conference:

14.5.5.1 Transferring within the Southeastern Conference. A transfer student from a member institution shall not be eligible for intercollegiate competition at another member institution until the student has fulfilled a residence requirement of one full academic year (two full semesters) at the certifying institution. Further, a transfer student-athlete admitted after the 12th class day may not utilize that semester for the purpose of establishing residency. Student-athletes meeting the terms of NCAA Bylaws 14.5.5.2.1, 14.5.5.2.2, 14.5.5.2.3, 14.5.5.2.4, 14.5.5.2.5, 14.5.5.2.6, 14.5.5.2.7, 14.5.5.2.8 and 14.5.5.2.9 may seek a waiver of the provisions of this bylaw. [Revised 6/2/00; effective 8/1/2001; Revised 6/1/08] .

He could ask the NCAA for a waiver and I'm sure he will. Given the proximity to our 8/24 game, it is unlikely the NCAA would even hear his case before the game and his eligibility will surely be challenged by Georgia. I can't see him being granted eligibility for 2019. That would open the floodgates for intra-conference transfers and I know the SEC and NCAA don't want that to happen.

I posted the SEC intra-conference transfer rule in this thread. IMO, there is no way he's going to be eligible for this year and definitely not for the MIami-Florda game.

So we know that despite beliefs that getting dismissed from UGA meant you were too toxic for anyplace except ISIS is not true. There is USwamp.

Two things I find ironically funny in this thread.

1. Our own fanbase thinks Bubba wont be able to play at Safety against UF (some even longer than that) even though he is enrolled in school, cleared, and practicing but are contemplating if Cox is going to play against us when he is not enrolled, hasn't been cleared, and has not practiced?

2. How long until UF recalculates their recruiting class with a 5 star? Or sees this as a "huge" get when they made fun of us for our transfers? Not to mention if he was any good, UGA would have fought to keep him IF his only issue was weed.

And another thing the former school has to help in most of the successful waiver cases like martell osu or uga with fields. There’s no love lost between uga and uf and has been an intense chess match of rivalry all off season. They not going to help their immediate rival in that process to get him eligible to play this year
