The NCAA would surely use this opportunity to let congress know how they've lost control and need help. Instead of doing something as easy as vacating wins.

I had to google that. I wasn't sure if you were giving instructions for playing hockey, talking about an Eastern European DJ, some recruit I hadn't heard of or a reference to that high fiber cereal. Turns out it's a prediction market app. GD I feel old....

I can't believe someone hasn't heard of it. Our own current government are the biggest advocates/investors. High ranking military intelligence officers are making millions "betting" on specific war actions. What a time to be alive.

I mean yea, how about a guy chokes out a ref in the middle of a game? Can't suspend him as it would cause the player a probable, imminent, and irreparable injury. 🤷‍♀️

We had a temp who ate that stuff 3 times a day the entire month she was here. Let's just say it wasn't doing her any favors around 9 and again at 2:30.

Well there's now one less person.
I don't really gamble or make bets. Once in a blue moon I'll make a friendly bet and about once every 3-5 years, I spend a couple hours in a casino. I scored 760 on my math SAT (not trying to nerd flex on you) and studied statistics and probability in both hogh school and college. Therefore when I walk into a casino and look at the dice table odds, my stomach turns knowing that I am literally playing a game that was working against me from the beginning only for the house to push the odds/payouts more in their favor. I work hard for my loot. Giving it away isn't on my radar.

Again, I'm not trying to flex on you, argue with you, or even really defend my wimpy position of not hearing of Kalshi before this morning. It's just the backstory. Feel free to call me a name and/or insult me if you reply. It'll feel more authentically CiS that way.

Nah I don't really gamble either. House always wins and I don't pretend to be a savant. But if the odds are decent for Miami winning it all I might put a few bucks on that before the season.
 
Can't wait for this guy - after he runs for a TD - to sprinkle a line of white powder in the end zone then hoover it all up.
 
This dude bet on professional and collegiate sports, including his own team. If he is allowed to actually play, what prohibits ANY player from participating in shaving or providing any info regarding there team to outside sources? I mean, won't there be precedent now that would allow all collegaite athletes to place any kind of wagers, including on or against there own teams? If so, the integrity of the sport is done.
