The way that the NCAA has come across looking against NIL, lawyers, players, and co. if this is a clear cut Sorsby-**** up and the rule CLEARLY state that he should be banned, NCAA is gonna reap here. They're tired of getting played and it's statement time. If the reports are true that he bet on college football including his own team, he's done.
 
Last year vs Nebraska, Cincinnati was on their final drive and were driving down, about to win the game. This guy Sorsby inexplicably throws a dime directly to a Nebraska DB to end the game, when he had been playing otherwise fine the whole game. This is disgusting and this kid needs to be removed from CFB.

In Trumpy Cane’s opinion, the NCAA is gonna put the hammer down on him

The biggest reason is that the NCAA has been taking L after L for the last couple years, this is their moment to actually do something

I'm sure they will plan to have him back by the fall after a month or two of "treatment" to get out in front of the situation. Addiction is an interesting word and I would question whether he has gambled since his time at IU. I imagine he has if they're pursuing treatment now.

Maybe if he played at Texas State.

Texas Tech has a LOT of money. And then when you're done counting all that money, they have a lot more. He'll play.

Before that pick, through the air, Sorsby was 13/24 for 69 yards.

Reading your analysis of that play, I expected something totally different.

They’ve already suspended kids caught gambling on their team. He’s done if the Indianan stuff is true

Let's be real here. All these people need to stop the f***ing pearl clutching. They created this environment and it's going to get A LOT worse before it gets better. Sorsby is the tip of the iceberg.

I’ll agree that his pass into double coverage was somewhat sus, I don’t know why he made a throw like that, but it’s also just possible he didn’t see the DB that was directly behind the Cincy receiver.

But your post is a good one, and it does bring up the possibility based on what we now know about him now. Based on his gambling history, people are always going to have questions about plays like this, and they’re definitely legitimate questions.

Everyone can judge for themselves based on the screenshots and the video. Cincinnati receiver is circled in yellow in the first picture, Nebraska is in the white jerseys.

Sorsby actually looked pretty good on that almost game winning drive, except of course, for the last play.
