He was on the team, doesn't matter if he didn't play in the game and was redshirting.

It'll make me feel a little better when we beat UGA 37-17 in the natty this year though.

I don't feel super strongly about it, but I lean towards him not playing college football next season.

Fair. I disagree, but we shall see. Obviously if this gets deeper, it can change my mind. But if the "worst" thing he did was bet on Indiana in games he didn't play in, and there's zero evidence of him influencing the game (not sure how he would if he didn't play, but that's another discussion), this will be brushed under the rug in the form of "treatment". We'll see.

Tyhey probably gonna protect TT but he should indeed should have suspension because then it will become a joke.

He got caught and they got wind of it. He and TT are trying to get ahead of it as much as possible. If this was run of the mill gambling that had nothing to do with his own team and he truly wanted help, this would not have been made public. The fact it was made public means he screwed up big time and someone found out. Counseling is their only play. But if he was betting on his own team, there will be a paper trail and he will not play college ball ever again. The line has to be drawn somewhere and he will be made an example of.
