You guys are missing the issue. It doesn't matter if he played in the game or not, he has knowledge of injuries and suspensions and other key pieces of information that the general public does not. He can't bet on his team's games, doesn't matter if he plays or if he bets on them to win or lose.
The problem becomes what is he willing to do if he gets down a lot of money and wants to recoup it quick. That's why it can't be allowed.
Also, now with the apps he doesn't have to throw a game. You guys are looking at plays in the game and acting like you can tell if he threw the game or not. You are not capable of figuring that out. He can just play with the prop bets and bet the under on his yardage and make sure he doesn't pass it. Or bet the over on his INTs and never worry about a point spread. Even easier, he can bet the under on his rushing yards and then never scramble all game.
I agree with most here; he will and should be done and **** we dodged a bullet with him in the portal. I remember when it was all going down, I would have been thrilled at the time if we got him in the portal based on our realistic options. Jeez we got lucky there. Lol
