Brendan Sorsby enters Portal

I don't think your take is terrible. Nico may or may not put it together, and in terms of "watching football", we had "the staff believes in Emory takes" up until the second half of the Pop Tart Bowl... and they "watch football"

Offseason QB movement could match the coaching shuffle.
I would probably take the staff believes in Emory takes with a grain of salt. Not like they are going to go around telling everyone Emory sucks. The fact they keep bringing in a transfer QB is the tell that they don't believe Emory is more than a back up

Are we really going to have this conversation again? No, Emory will not be the starting QB next year.

Most things should be taken that way. Speaks to the snark about “watching football” vs comments we see. We did hear it would be Emory or Mendoza last Oct and it was a repeat topic throughout last fall so it was a tad more than one off kool aid. And I agree we aren’t going to hear, “he sucks” from the staff.

We’ll see who our portal QB1 is in 2026

Let’s start here:
He torpedoed his first team and clearly is a horrible person with an even worse father involvement
He statistics at UT were barely average
His stats at ucla were even worse until he successfully got his entire offensive coaching staff fired
He’s shown nothing over 2 years that makes you think he has the tools to win and even if you see glimpses of them it’s not worth any of the off field stuff to get 2-3 good games a year.

Yea, the points you make misrepresent my position. My original statement was about his undeniable physical gifts at the QB position, not personality traits or stats.

Feel free to revisit the entire chain & refute what I actually said b/c you've created an argument that isn't connected to my post.
