Brendan Sorsby enters Portal

There’s no sure thing out there brother. They all have flaws . Find the best fit for your scheme that processes things quickly.
Based on the options available (if Leavitt goes to Oregon/doesn’t pass medical clearance and Sorsby goes guns up) that seems to be Raiola. He can throw a pretty ball and seems to quickly go through his progressions based on the very small amount of film I saw on him.

At least, Bailey destroyed GT and he’s younger, more potential. Theres no sure thing like Mateer and Beck in the TP yet.

There's no consensus guy, but that doesn't mean there's a dearth of quality options.

Sorsby, Leavitt, Raiola, Mestamaker, Bailey are all names that have support as the top guy from the base. Not to mention Nico (find it interesting he hasn't declared entry) or Jackson Arnold who are also talented guys.

Those last two guys you name would be such a failure. Especially Jackson Arnold. There is no scenario on earth that Jackson Arnold is our qb next year.

Pat Mahomes with ACL in one piece is probably the QB with the least concerns.

Thing is he doesn’t even play like Mahomes. Much more of a pocket passer and less of a magician.

Only real concern I have with him is his weight and that Mahomes crap. If you’re gonna succeed as a leader at a program like Miami you have to be your own person. Time to mature a little bit or you’ll get lost in the sauce down here.

Nico is arguably the most physically gifted player in college football at the most important position. Coaching, complementary talent, system-fit, and confidence can bring the best out of a QB.

Every QB thread on CIS should have a Browns/Jets tag to align with the board’s QB eval acumen.

I prefer Sorsby, but we aren't waiting for a NFL decision, again. Most important, not only is his girlfriend going to TT, but his former OL coach at Lake Dallas, Spencer Leftwhich is the father of TT's OC Mack Leftwhich. That's a strong pull to TT with that NIL and being back in Texas. Mack Leftwhich was the actual Cam Ward recruiter to Incarnate Word.

Texas high school football has Incest on the level of Game of Thrones, George Martin would be proud

Humor aside, rhetorical questions don't elevate the dialogue around here.

If there's something more specific you'd like to challenge feel free.

I'm sure you have more to add...
Let’s start here:
He torpedoed his first team and clearly is a horrible person with an even worse father involvement
He statistics at UT were barely average
His stats at ucla were even worse until he successfully got his entire offensive coaching staff fired
He’s shown nothing over 2 years that makes you think he has the tools to win and even if you see glimpses of them it’s not worth any of the off field stuff to get 2-3 good games a year.

I don't think your take is terrible. Nico may or may not put it together, and in terms of "watching football", we had "the staff believes in Emory takes" up until the second half of the Pop Tart Bowl... and they "watch football"

Offseason QB movement could match the coaching shuffle.
