2 related stories with this link. What a huge contrast between Coach Diaz and Dan Mullen.
From the 2nd article:
At Miami, Tracy met with the coaches. She wasn’t sure how Manny Diaz was reacting to her story, until he said he wanted to introduce her to his team and when she was done he had a few things to say before calling for breakout sessions with his players.
“I thought ... ‘Wow! That’s amazing,’ ” she said. “Not all coaches take the initiative to do something like that.”
Diaz told his players what they were about to hear was important. And when she was done, he spoke again.
“He said, ‘Playing here is a privilege and not a right, you harm someone and you’re out of here,’ ” Tracy said.
“He’s very clearly set the expectations with the players. And that meant a lot to me because these players need to hear that from their coach and that’s exactly what I ask coaches to do. I was very impressed with coach Diaz that day.”
Her story is tragic. The various "systems" in place in 98 were inadequate by today's standards, and they haven't improved all that much. Mike Riley did nothing wrong back then. He isn't law enforcement and the charges were dropped. Her ire towards him, while emotionally understandable, was thoroughly misplaced.
What has sadly gotten out of control (and you are seeing lawsuit victories rack up by the "accused") is the college process was turned into a kangaroo court by the hated "dear colleague" letter policy of the previous adminstration.
Instead of the rule of law, Title IX and Clery were (are) being used in ways by people with zero aptitude, 100% agenda, and no compelling authority to "try to make things right because I (we) know they are guilty".
In turn, it only harms true cases of sexual assualt.
The data indicates far more questionable/choice regret and false accusations than actual sexual assault (a term that is describing behaviors in an expanding and unfettered way). Again, this only serves to cheapen and lessen the actual cases whereby the perpertrator(s) need to have their ball sacks tacked up on a post for all to see in deterrence of future predators.
#truff. preach brother.... Duke Lacrosse players & coach, Brian Banks... names of men who are forever tarnished and forgotten over false accusations
Real tears over here champWhy yall talk so reckless on here man, I didn’t insult you. You voiced your stupid opinion so I responded, I didn’t personally insult you. My point is that if someone is interested in decreasing domestic violence among football players, you gotta start somewhere. So you saying “all men are evil” sarcastically dont really vibe w/ someone being about that.
And I don’t really give af if you were out w/ a cucumber but good for you dog enjoy your night.
Real tears over here champ. That's what you got out of my statement. Gotta start way younger and it's gotta be in the home. You know nothing about the brain and how it's wired. Lol just enjoy your life. And you insulted me acting butt hurt INSTEAD of having a conversation like a man.
Brenda Tracy would get my chram

I'm not tight goofy...I'm enjoying my Thursday and I'm going out in DC tonight. I can't get tight bc some random muthafukkas doesn't like what I said.Word. Man dont say dumb **** you won’t have people “insulting” you. You voice your dumbass opinion but get tight when I respond to you
You need to attend some courses/lectures on domestic violence and date rape. If you did, you would understand why these crimes don't get reported and/or prosecuted. You sound eerily like Dan Mullen.
These are are guys that were basically strangling women. There's no defense for it. Just because they didn't get charged, doesn't mean it didn't happen. Most of these cases don't get charged as crimes because the women don't want to go thru all the pain and be ridiculed by all the fans backing the player from the athletic team and the entire athletic department backing him as well.
Mullen is creep for putting players before the welfare of women. Click on the link that I posted in this thread to find out what Brenda Tracy had to say about Manny Diaz when she visited the Miami Football team. Manny Diaz and Dan Mullen are polar opposites on this matter.
especially if its a girl doing the allegation.
People get let go from most normal organization for the piddliest shlt.
You really have to watch your conversation with other men, in case a woman with an ax to grind, might hear. It just might be a harmless dirty joke.
But this thing...hair pulling, choking... I mean that’s just a different universe.
True!
Quick question..If you take a woman’s phone...what are you getting charged with?
You need some help. You sound like punk even online. Talk a lot **** about women, but would get yours handed to by any grown man.Shut your yussp a$$ up.. tons of these ******* be LYING & tons tell the truth. Quit acting like it’s all truth just bc a women said it.
You take my phone..I might choke that ***** too.![]()
Easy to set the expectation - " you harm someone and you're out of here' - will be interesting to see if it happens when it happens,2 related stories with this link. What a huge contrast between Coach Diaz and Dan Mullen.
