I dont think it is this comment but something he said at the beginning of the season. I dont have the exact quote but the point was, I got wind Miami was trying to poach our QB, but we shut that down and I (Narduzzi) immediately picked up the phone to call danny miaz and told him to watch out because Miami was going to Mensah next. So he kinda started it and then of course he will get questioned about it.

Also the above makes little sense, like i am sure Miami was in contact with a tonnnnn of reps and vice versa when we were QB hunting but to think Pitt qb was choice 1a and when we lost we "settled" on Mensah seems a bit extreme.
