Shannon was a terrible DC at Florida.

What are you talking about, except for last yr, he's never had a losing record in CFB. He managed to win 10 games at SC despite dealing with a 2 yr postseason ban, and 30 lost scholarships. Out of 3 yrs at FAU, he managed to win the division twice. If you think he's the most overrated coach of all time, you really haven't been paying attention. He can coach. He will do well at Ole Miss

Whatever you say, buddy

Tennessee: 7-6 (left after one year - publicly screwed over the program)

Oakland Raiders: 5-15 (fought with Al Davis and was fired)

USC: 28-15 (not a good record for a USC program, hilariously fired at the airport)

FAU: 25-13 (****** program and conference, plus similar to Butch’s record at FIU and everyone here says he sucks)

Nothing there is great. Sorry man. He’s proven to be a pretty good coordinator and a very overrated coach.

And “not having a losing record” is certainly not a defining characteristic of a good coach. Manny currently doesn’t have a losing record either.
 
Oooo weee if this is true Bill Clark about to go back to back..... Should've waited until after the conference championship
