BREAKING: Ken Dorsey fired by Buffalo!

Dorsey is on record as saying his only interest at UM would be HC. Let’s see what happens, he could maybe justify working as an offensive consultant. My guess is he’s right back as an OC in the NFL next year.
where is that on record?

Love Ken. But please no Mario. This would be a terrible time for him to come back to Miami.
I actually disagree. You give Dorsey a team with a strong OL, which we will have, and some weapons, which we have, and his desire to tear the **** out of every D in front of him after getting fired, and yeah, you might see some fireworks.

He's one of the better offensive minds in the NFL, so I'd have NO problem with bringing him home. None.

He wouldn't be a nepotistic hire. He would be an OC with NFL experience at that position. I think he lands somewhere else in the NFL, personally, and we don't have to worry about this for long.

The CIS homer offense wet dream is in full effect:
OC/QB: Dorsey
RB: Fire Harris bring in Portis/Gore/McGahee
WR: set with KB but can fire him for Hank or Reggie Wayne
TE: Woodiel canned Shockey in or Winslow Jr can coach from prison
OL: can’t fire Mirabal but Joaquin is brought on as an analyst with Kehoe
ST: bring in Soldy
I don't like hiring guys just because they were Canes. Getting a guy with NFL experience as an OC, and one with a resume he has, you take him IF you can. His resume is awesome compared to anyone else that comes to mind that we can realistically have. That's not being a Miami homer. That's just the truth.

Quick question, if he didn't QB for Miami 20 years ago would you even know who he was, let alone want him to coach here?
Quick question. If a guy with NFL OC experience, who is still relatively young became available, would you take the time to look at his freaking resume? Yeah, I think you would. And yes, football fans know who Ken Dorsey is.

Saban was on record saying he wasn't leaving the Dolphins. Who doesn't want to go back to college?

Bills offense was very predictable this year

They destroyed Miami and were very unpredictable/unstoppable.

I'm not sure where the predictability narrative comes from but championship football has never been about 'outsmarting' the opposition. It's about executing what everyone knows you do well at a championship level.

Just go get a college OC with proven results IN COLLEGE (according to advanced analytics)......basically the OC version of Guidry. This **** isn't hard.
Get briles or go get Riley from Clemson I’m sure he would love to leave bc Dabo is smothering him with his ****** Clemson playbook

not so fast.

worked with Kurt at some QB camps one the years. Nice guy and fun to talk ball with.

I concur with what he's saying here. It wasn't the new OC that made things better.

This analysis was provided after one game.

no, I'm saying the offense didn't change much in either game. some of that is structural, and some philosophical.

but give it the rest of the season to play out, and then let's review.
It won't change much this season, period. The bar isn't how much it changes. The playbook is installed, and you can't implement a new system 3 months into a season. The difference has been personnel and usage. The most important part of being an OC isn't scheme it's rhythm. Brady has methodically used plays and formations to keep defenseoff balanced. The predictability that Dorsey had is gone.
