I think this is for getting paid outside of school. So Miami won’t be directly paying anyone. But college players can sign deals with adidas etc. Not 100% sure but this is what it sounds like

It fixes nothing. With every policy there will be a loop hole. The truth is that it should be like college baseball. The XFL should really look into being a bridge from HS to the NFL where players get paid legally. I know it will be rough at first but that will be a solution that is the most transparent.

There is absolutely NO sane reason ( outside of control ) why college football players should have more restrictions on their ability to earn outside $$, than any other college group on scholarship.
