Is the greatest television series ever made.
That is all.
That is all.
The question is, is Better Call Saul just a wee bit better?
The character development I think was superior in this series.
Better Call Saul is also amazing - and there were aspects of it that I thought were superior to BB (cinematography in particular) - but I took umbrage with the timeline of the story combined with the aging of the actors. It sometimes made suspension of disbelief hard.
Gus and especially Mike looked extremely old when the events of the show are supposed to take place five years prior to the events of BB. Even Jimmy in the final two seasons after he lost weight looked quite different from his character in BB. The Jesse flashbacks were brutal.
I understand there’s nothing the producers can really do about it. People get old and makeup can only go so far, but for me it made things tough at times.
I had the same issue in El Camino with Todd where he’s 50 lbs heavier in the movie than he was in BB. That was completely avoidable, though, as Vince didn’t have to include him in the story.
I also enjoyed Breaking Bad more… although admittedly I still have the final episode of Better Call Saul to watch. And Breaking Bad I thought had some weak episodes and slow spots, but overall had some really good moments in each season and the last episode was about as good as u could end a series like thatBetter Call Saul is also amazing - and there were aspects of it that I thought were superior to BB (cinematography in particular) - but I took umbrage with the timeline of the story combined with the aging of the actors. Top 5-10 for sure.Is the greatest television series ever made.

I thought the ending of Saul was brilliant, especially how they handled the female lead and the overall relationship.
It's was a great show. Have you ever watched "The Shield"?
